The plan includes guidance for land use, form and character for this lakeside community in which tourism, agriculture, industry and provincial park uses coexist. It addresses planning, design, and development issues at the scale of the neighbourhood, the block, the street, and the lot. It attempted to reconcile the often competing agricultural, tourism, industrial and community needs.
